Tarot For Healing; Unlocking Personal Growth

Life can be so hard sometimes, and it's not uncommon to find yourself feeling lost and overwhelmed during challenging times. We all face difficult situations at some point in our lives, and finding a way to heal and move forward can be a real struggle. While traditional therapy and self-care practices are helpful, Tarot is another surprising tool that you may not have considered. In this post, we'll explore how Tarot can be used for healing and provide you with some techniques that will make you want to give it a try!

I personally discovered Tarot during a really difficult period in my life. I had been thrown many curve balls and was weary, depressed, angry, and confused. My intuition had already been screaming at me for years, though I didn't fully trust myself enough to make heads or tails out of the signs that were ever present in my life.

Through Tarot I was able to heal and find meaning from my experiences that I couldn’t make sense of before. The cards helped me to explore and validate my feelings and emotions, as well as better understand the life lessons that had been presented to me. I was able to view things from a higher vantage point which was life changing. The cards also helped me to evaluate relationships so that I could recognize what I needed, or thought I needed from my connections. Some relationships have since fallen away completely, new ones have blossomed, and many have grown deeper and stronger. The clarity and confidence I have gained as a result of Tarot has been profoundly transformative.

In utilizing the cards to overcome my own personal challenges I have discovered their incredible potential to help us heal by really digging into the core of our situations so that we can gain clarity and heal our wounds.

Here are some great ways that you can use Tarot for healing...

Self-reflection

When used for self-reflection, Tarot can help you gain insight into your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. By examining the cards and reflecting on their meaning and how it pertains to your own unique situations, you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, which sets you on a path to healing and personal growth. Journaling is an excellent accompaniment to this practice as it allows you to record your feelings and reflect back so you can clearly track your progress.

Guided meditations

Incorporating Tarot cards into your meditation practice is a wonderful way to tap into higher guidance. By choosing a card and meditating on its symbolism and meaning, you are often able to gain insight into subconscious thoughts and feelings, which can help promote healing and relaxation.

Dream Reflection

Our dreams can also provide powerful insights and allow us to tap into our subconscious for answers. Before sleeping, take a few minutes to focus on the card of your choice. Set the intention for answers or clarity to come to you in your dreams. Be sure to write your dreams down in a journal when you wake, so that you don’t forget and can reflect back later. I have used this technique many times and am always blown away at the realizations that I receive.

Emotional Release

Use the cards to help you to release negative emotions, such as anger, frustration, or sadness. By pulling a card that represents a negative emotion and reflecting on its meaning, you are able to acknowledge and release these feelings in a healthy and controlled manner.

Intention Setting

Use the cards to set intentions for healing and personal growth. Select a card that represents a desired outcome or quality, and focus your energy and attention on achieving that goal. You can also post the card in a conspicuous place for a few days as a reminder, sleep with it under your pillow, or even include it with your crystal grid.

Spiritual Connection

Tarot can be used to connect with spiritual energy or entities, such as angels, spirit guides, or deities. By pulling a card that represents a particular entity or energy and meditating on its meaning, you can deepen your spiritual connection and promote healing on a deeper level.

Tarot truly is a powerful tool for healing and transformation. Hopefully some of these techniques will inspire you to try something new with your cards and help provide you with more insight, and a deeper connection to yourself as well as the divine.

Until next time,
